The summer travel season is here! For the Eco-minded among us, thankfully, more and more people and companies are recognizing opportunities for making travel more earth-friendly. Recently, we even came across a nonprofit that recycles used hotel soap!
Before getting into the post, if you are wondering about this week’s blog picture, it is actually a collage of photos from one of our favorite destinations in NYC. The High Line is a modern multi-use space and park that spans approximately 1.45 miles. One of the many many interesting things about it is that it was created on an elevated section of the city above an abandoned railway that had been marked for demolition. It is a great example of how cities can honor nature and reuse spaces to create something peaceful and lovely.
